Bowling Night

We went bowling this weekend with some friends. We all had a great time.. especially Sam. He is growing so fast. He is getting taller, but not wider. Bless his heart, we have to wear belts because his 2T pants will fall off of him! He is constantly pulling up his pants. He is talking in full sentences and loves to ask the question "What's that Mama"??

Pictures from Valentines Day

I was looking through my pictures today and remembered I had not put these up. I just love the one with Sam and his buddy Matilyn... aren't they just the cutest?? Sam got a hot wheels loop for Valentines Day... which he loves. He is all about anything that has to with cars, trucks, and trains. The last picture shows me holding Sam and Julia Day. She was also adopted from China. We were celebrating her 2nd birthday on Valentines Day. She is so very sweet. Happy Birthday JD!!

Nick was the drummer in a band called Idlewind South. One of his classmates sent this picture to him. They are planning their 30 year high school reunion. Nick is the cool one on the right with the hat. Nick also played in the high school marching band. He has had so much fun catching up with all his old friends. I think the reunion is set for July in San Destin.

Snow!

We woke up to snow Sunday morning. Sam was so excited. He was screaming.. "Mama, Daddy.. it nowing, it nowing"! We quickly got dressed and went out to play in the snow at 7am. We ended up getting about a 1/2 inch... but it was wonderful while it lasted! After a hot breakfast and hot chocolate we got ready for church. The snow was coming down hard, but it wasn't sticking to the street so it was the best of both worlds. We had such a fun time. I also have to share a story with my blogger friends. Nick and I recently joined FaceBook. Nick is new to social networking and is not use to the lingo that we use. For example.. lots of people have been writing him and ending their sentences with LOL. Last night while reading an entry he asked me what does LOL mean. I told him it meannt "laughing out loud". He said the only thing he could think of was "love our Lord"... we were "laughing out loud" over that one!! Now, every time I read LOL I will always think "love our Lord"!!
